In Jacques voyages he brought back to France, quartz crystals and iron pyrites. He also discovered routs of what is now the U.S and traded fur, food, and weapons with the natives. John Cabot claimed land in what is now Canada for England. Henry Hudson discovered and sailed the Hudson strait, Hudson Bay, and the Hudson River witch eventually led to ditch colonization
